Moth Dust
Moth Dust is a unique item that can be sprayed onto mobs or other players to strategically mark them with the scent of a Gloomoth, making all denizens in the Forlorn Hollows hostile toward them. It can also be alternatively used to craft some Forlorn Hollow related crafting recipes.
Obtaining
Mob loot
Gloomoths are the only mob to drop 0-2 Moth Dust upon death. The maximum drop is increased by 2 per level of Looting, with a maximum of 8 Moth Dust with Looting III.

Combat
When Moth Dust is equipped in your hand, pressing and holding right-click will charge it up. This charge determines how far the Moth Dust can travel through the air to reach and scent a targeted mob or player, with a full charge allowing the dust to be sprayed a distance of four blocks in front of its user.
Any Underzealot, Watcher, Corrodent, Vesper, or Forsaken in a 32 block radius from an entity that has just been scented with Moth Dust will begin targeting it with the intention of killing, even if these listed attackers were already attacking or targeting something else. Once one of these mobs becomes aggravated at a moth-scented target, it will not stop persuing it until its target is dead or exits their follow range.
Hostile creatures of the Forlorn Hollows must be in this 32 block radius with a mob or player prior to it being scented with Moth Dust, otherwise they will not become aggressive towards it from the scent.
