A Darkened Apple is a food item primarily eaten when under the effects of Darkness Incarnate to extend its duration.

Darkened Apples need 4 Pure Darkness, which can only be obtained from slaying a Forsaken.

Usage
Food
Similarly to most other food items, pressing and holding down right-click while holding a Darkened Apple will make you begin eating it. Eating it will restore 4 (
) hunger and 2.8 hunger saturation.
Unlike most foods, Darkened Apples can be eaten even if the hunger bar is full.
Eating while incarnated
If eating a Darkened Apple while under the effects of Darkness Incarnate, it will extend the effect's duration for 30 extra seconds. This bonus can stack with no reasonable limit when eating multiple Darkened Apples.
