Bucket of Acid

A Bucket of Acid is a bucket filled with Acid.

Obtaining

Interacting

An empty bucket can be filled with Acid by right-clicking on an Acid source block while holding the bucket. This consumes the Acid source block in the process.

Right-clicking a flowing Acid block does not fill the bucket, nor remove the fluid.

Usage

Emptying

Pressing right-click on a solid block while holding a Bucket of Acid will place an acid source block against that block, emptying the bucket.

Emptying a Bucket of Acid in the Nether will cause the Acid to turn into a block of Unrefined Waste.

Acid-logging

Using a Bucket of Acid on any of the blocks listed below will acid-log that block.

Crafting ingredient

Buckets of Acid can be used to craft Acidic Radrock.

Dispensers

A dispenser can be loaded with a Bucket of Acid, and when activated it places an acid source block directly before it, emptying the bucket. A dispenser loaded with an empty bucket and an acid source block right in front of it draws the source into the bucket when activated.

Capturing Radgills

Buckets of Acid are the only type of bucket that can be used to capture Radgills, creating a Bucket of Radgill.

History

1.0.0 Introduced.
1.0.7 Fixed Acid Buckets not working with Dispensers.
1.1.2 Fixed a bug that caused Acid flowing into Acid-loggable blocks to create Acid source blocks.
1.1.3 Fixed a bug that caused Acid source blocks to be created when an Acid-loggable block was placed in flowing Acid.

Trivia

  • Buckets of Acid have a naming inconsistency with other non-mob filled buckets.
  • Buckets of Acid cannot be placed inside of a cauldron, similar to Milk Buckets.
