A Splash Potion of Haste is a variant of Potion of Haste that can be thrown.
Obtaining
Brewing
A non-extended splash potion of haste lasts 3:00 minutes, meanwhile a splash potion of haste II lasts 1:30 seconds.

Usage
Using
Splash Potions of Haste can be thrown at mobs or yourself to inflict the Haste effect in a small radius for the amount of time shown on its item tooltip. The effect may not last the tooltip's entire duration depending on how far away an entity is standing from the infliction radius.
If an entity is already effected with Haste but is splashed with another Splash Potion of Haste, it will simply resets the effect's duration. (To see more about the Haste effect itself, go to: mcw:haste).
Modifiers
Splash Potions of Haste can be modified in three different ways.
- Brewing glowstone dust enhances the level of the effect to Haste II at the expense of only making last 1:30 seconds.
- Adding redstone dust extends the duration from 3:00 minutes to 8:00 minutes.
- Brewing dragon's breath turns the potion into a Lingering Potion of Haste.
