A Heavy Bone is a special variant of bone obtained from slaying only the largest dinosaurs in the Primordial Caves. It can be crafted into more bone meal than regular bones but is predominantly used for crafting exclusive Primordial items.
Obtaining
Mob loot
Tremorsaurus, Relicheirus, and Atlatitan all drop different amounts of heavy bones. All their maximum drops is increased by 0-2 per level of Looting, for a maximum of 9 heavy bones from Tremorsaurus and Relicheirus and 15 heavy bones from Atlatitan with Looting III.

Usage
Despite it being another variant of bone, Heavy Bones cannot be given to untamed wolves.
