Diving Armor Set
The Diving Armor Set is an armor set primarily worn to navigate through the Abyssal Chasm and through water easier. The set consists of the Diving Helmet, Diving Chestplate, Diving Leggings, and Diving Boots.
Obtaining
Chest loot
Abyssal Ruins occasionally generating within the Abyssal Chasm have loot chests all with 2.2% chances to contain a Diving Helmet, Diving Chestplate, Diving Leggings, or Diving Boots.
Mob loot
Drowned that spawn in the Abyssal Chasm will have a chance to spawn with any pieces of Diving Gear. They will have a small chance of dropping this armor when killed by the player. The dropped pieces of Diving Gear will vary from 0 to full durability.
Repairing

All pieces of the Diving Armor Set may also be repaired on an anvil by using a copper ingot or another of the matching piece. Grindstones may also be used in place of anvils, but armor pieces will only be able to be repaired with another matching armor piece.
Usage
Due to the Diving Armor Set having an entirely different model compared to regular armor, it cannot be trimmed with a smithing template.
Protection values
The Diving Armor Set will grant the exact same defense amount as the iron armor set.

Special properties
All pieces of the Diving Armor Set except for the Diving Chestplate will grant different abilities that will all help traversing through water or on Muck when equipped.
- Equipping the Diving Helmet while not underwater will provide the water breathing status effect for 40 seconds; the duration of this status effect will slowly tick down only while the user is fully submerged in water or has unequipped the Diving Helmet.
- Equipping the Diving Leggings will grant the user an additional 0.5 Swim Speed, making moving through water or Acid considerably faster.
- Equipping the Diving Boots will stop the user from sinking in Muck, allowing one to freely walk on it as if it were a full block and has no movement slowing properties.

Trivia
- The Diving Chestplate is meant to grant the wearer additional armor toughness, however this bonus is currently bugged and does not apply.
- The Diving Armor Set is also supposed to give the user knockback resistance similarly to netherite armor, however this does not apply.
