A Flytrap is a carnivorous plant found in the Primordial Caves.
Obtaining
Natural generation
Flytraps generate naturally in the Primordial Caves. Using Bone Meal or Fertilizer on a Flytrap causes the Flytrap to drop copies of itself.
Usage
Flytraps can be used for decoration. When placed in the world, fly particles will appear and swarm around the mouth of a Flytrap after some time. The Flytrap sometimes snaps shut while the flies are swarming, as if it has caught one. After spending some time closed, it will reopen, beginning the cycle again.
Crafting
Flytraps are primarily used to create Seething Stew, but they can also be turned into Red Dye.

Composting
Using Flytraps on a Composter has a 65% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
