Abyssal Ruins

Abyssal Ruins are floating structures scattered across the floor of the Abyssal Chasm. They are the only source of the exclusive pottery sherds and the Game Controller.

Structure

There are currently four possible variants of the Abyssal Ruin, each with a distinct look. All Abyssal Ruins incorporate Cut Copper Blocks, Depth Glass, and Scrap Metal Plates. Most Abyssal Ruins are supported by Metal Scaffolding, with Iron Trapdoors controlled by Copper Valves being the only way in and out of the structures.

Loot

The Rusty Barrels inside an Abyssal Ruin will contain a mixture of items, such as Marine Snow, Pearls, and Copper Ingots. However, there are also several rare items that can be found in these barrels, such as the Game Controller, the Diving Armor Set, and the Guardian and Hero Pottery Sherds. Submarines can also be found, either damaged in the Muck outside Abyssal Ruins or inside the seabase variant of the Abyssal Ruins.
