Muck

Muck is a gravity block found in the Abyssal Chasm.

Obtaining

Natural generation

A thick layer of Muck covers the bottom of the Abyssal Chasm.

Sea Pigs

Sea Pigs have an 11.1% chance to produce Muck when given Muck, Mud, or Clay Balls.

Usage

Movement

Muck behaves similarly to Soul Sand, slowing the player's movement and causing them to sink slightly into the block when they walk on it. This sinking and slowdown can be avoided by wearing Diving Boots.

Sea Glass

Muck has a small chance of dropping Sea Glass Shards instead of itself when broken. This chance can be increased slightly with Fortune.

Sea Pigs

Muck can be fed to Sea Pigs to produce Marine Snow, Pearls, or more Muck.

Trivia

Muck is the only block that can be given to and received from Sea Pigs.
