Slam is a food item primarily used to heal while inflicted with the Irradiated effect and inflicts strength upon being eaten.

Chest loot
Toxic Ruins occasionally generating within the Toxic Caves have loot chests with a 12.7% chance to contain Slam.
Usage
Food
To eat Slam, press and hold the use button while it is selected in your hotbar. Eating it will restore 4 (
) hunger and 4 hunger saturation along with inflicting you with Strength I for 20 seconds.
Healing while irradiated
If eating Slam while Irradiated, it will immediately restore 7
health after consuming. It is one of the exclusively three food items that heal you while Irradiated, with the others being Spelunkies and Green Soylent.

- Slam was heavily inspired by and a reference to Spam, a real-life brand of processed canned pork and ham known to have a long shelf-life.
