Cave Painting
Cave Paintings are a variant of Smooth Limestone that can be found in the Primordial Caves.
Obtaining
Natural generation
Cave Paintings generate as part of Caveman Houses in the Primordial Caves. Breaking them without a Silk Touch pickaxe causes them to drop Smooth Limestone.
Drawing
Right clicking Smooth Limestone while holding Charcoal creates a random Cave Painting, consuming the Charcoal in the process. This can be done on any face, although any Cave Painting on the top or bottom face of a Smooth Limestone block will always point north or south respectively.
Usage
Cave Paintings have no real use beyond decoration.

Mystery Cave Paintings
The Mystery Cave Paintings (numbered "Mystery I-IX" in-game) are a set of nine Cave Paintings that cannot be found naturally in the Primordial Caves. They can only be obtained by drawing them while meeting certain conditions.
Drawing
To draw the Mystery Cave Painting, the player must use Charcoal on the center of a 3x3 square of Smooth Limestone. This may take a few tries, as the Mystery Cave Painting has the same chances of being drawn as any other Cave Painting.
Trivia
- The Mystery Cave Paintings were added in version 1.0.5, four months before the dinosaur they depict.
