Waste Drums are a naturally occurring block that can be found dotting the landscape of the Toxic Caves.
Obtaining
Natural generation
Waste Drums can be found in many different Toxic Ruins variations.
Occasionally, patches of Waste Drums can be found scattered around the Toxic Caves.
Mob loot
Brainiacs will drop a Waste Drum if they are killed while carrying a Waste Drum on their back.
Crafting
Waste Drums can be crafted with Unrefined Waste and Metal Barrels.

Nuclear Furnace
Nuclear Furnaces produce Waste Drums when their waste is drained by placing Metal Barrels in the Furnace.
Usage
Due to Waste Drums being highly radioactive blocks, having them in the inventory without wearing the Hazmat Armor Set may give the player Irradiated I for 1:30.
Brainiacs
Waste Drums can be picked up by Brainiacs to use as a weapon or source of healing. Additionally, they will drop the Waste Drum if they are killed before it is used.
Tremorzilla taming
Waste Drums can be used to tame Tremorzilla.
Disposal
Trying to destroy the item form of a Waste Drum, such as by dropping it into fire, will cause it to explode and leave behind a radioactive cloud that inflicts Irradiated II for 8 minutes. This cloud takes a very long time to dissipate once it spawns.
