Volcanic Core

The Volcanic Core is an unobtainable block in the Primordial Caves biome.

Obtaining

The Volcanic Core cannot be obtained in Survival. It drops nothing when broken, even when using a Silk Touch pickaxe.

Placing a Volcanic Core in the world will cause it to turn into Flood Basalt after 4 seconds (80 ticks) if less than four of its faces are in contact with (flowing) Lava

Generation

One Volcanic Core generates in the center of every Volcano.

Usage

Tossing an Ominous Catalyst into the Volcano will summon the Luxtructosaurus, with a 24000 tick (20 minute) cooldown before another can be spawned.
