Unrefined Waste is a highly radioactive gravity block found in the Toxic Caves biome.
Obtaining
Natural generation
Unrefined Waste naturally generates in and around Acid Pits in the Toxic Caves.
Breeding Tremorzilla
When a Tremorzilla lays an egg, it replaces the block underneath the egg with Unrefined Waste.
Crafting
Unrefined Waste can be crafted using Toxic Paste.

Usage
Touching Unrefined Waste afflicts the player with Irradiated I for 3:20.
Crafting ingredient
Unrefined Waste can be used to craft Waste Drums. Note that the Metal Barrel, which currently lacks an icon, cannot be substituted for a Rusty Barrel.

Smelting ingredient
Unrefined Waste can be smelted to obtain Uranium Shards, making Uranium a renewable resource.
Uniquely, Unrefined Waste takes only 100 ticks (5 seconds) to smelt instead of 200 ticks (10 seconds).
