Nuclear Siren
A Nuclear Siren is a craftable sound-emitting block that can be found in the Toxic Caves biome.
Obtaining
Natural generation
Nuclear Sirens can generate naturally in the Toxic Caves biome.
Crafting
Nuclear Sirens can be crafted using Iron Ingots, Charred Remnants, and Uranium.

Usage
Manual activation
Nuclear Sirens can be powered with Redstone, causing them to emit a very loud wailing sound that can be heard from up to 256 blocks away. This sound remains audible even through blocks, but will abruptly cut off if the Nuclear Siren is broken or the chunk containing it is unloaded.
Spontaneous activation
Nuclear Sirens will spontaneously activate in response to the following events:
- A Nucleeper or Nuclear Bomb has begun its countdown
- A Nuclear Furnace has entered the second or third stage of overheating
- A Tremorzilla has begun charging its energy beam
All of these events, except for an overheating Nuclear Furnace, will activate any Nuclear Siren within a 256-block radius. An overheating Nuclear Furnace activates all Nuclear Sirens within a 128-block radius.
Trivia
- Nuclear Sirens will occasionally generate in unexpected locations, such as inside of a wall.
