Siren Light
Siren Lights are dyeable light-emitting blocks that can be crafted using Bottles of Radon.
Obtaining
Siren Lights are crafted using Glass, Iron Ingots, Radon, and Redstone. Note that a Glass Bottle remains in the crafting grid after crafting the Siren Light.
Ingredients | Crafting recipe |
---|---|
Glass + Iron Ingot + Bottle of Radon + Redstone |
Usage
Siren Lights can be broken with a Pickaxe, and will drop themselves even if the Pickaxe is not enchanted with Silk Touch.
Siren Lights can be placed on all six sides of a block, but they cannot be waterlogged. Placing a Siren Light in water causes it to break and drop as an item.
Dyeing
Siren Lights are dyeable, but they must be dyed after placing them in the world. A Siren Light can be dyed by right-clicking it while holding any Dye.
Breaking a dyed Siren Light of any color will drop a green Siren Light.
Redstone
Siren Lights can be powered with Redstone, causing the interior device to rotate and emit beams of colored light.
Trivia
- A Siren Light's default color is green.
- The light beams emitted by a Siren Light interact strangely with any semi-transparent blocks behind the Light (e.g. portals or water).
