Moth Balls can be crafted with String, Guano, and Moth Dust.

Usage

Up to five Moth Balls can be placed in one block.

A placed Moth Ball will deter Gloomoths within a 3 block radius,^{Verification Needed} even if there is a light source nearby. This deterrent effect increases by 3 blocks for every additional Moth Ball, up to a maximum radius of 15 blocks with five Moth Balls.
