Jelly Bean

A Jelly Bean is a food item obtained from Gummy Bears that allow Potions to be consumed more conveniently.

If fed a potion, a Gummy Bear will enter a state of hibernation for a minimum of 2 in-game days, with the bottle being returned to the player empty. In addition to this, the Gummy Bear's insides will turn red, green, or blue, depending on the color of the potion it was fed. Once that duration of time passes, it will wake up and start seeking out any Licoroot within a 6-block radius. Upon reaching a Licoroot, it will stand on its hind legs and turn its back towards the Licoroot before rubbing its back on it for 4.5 seconds, leaving behind 2-5 Jelly Beans. Afterwards, its insides will turn back to normal.

Usage

Food

Pressing and holding down right-click while holding a Jelly Bean will make you begin eating it. Eating one restores 1 () hunger and half of a bar of saturation.

Similarly to Green Soylent, Jelly Beans can be eaten even with a full hunger bar.

Effect

Eating a Jelly Bean will result in the player being given its corresponding effect, equivalent in level and duration to the Potion fed to the Gummy Bear that made it.
