Grottoceratops Egg
Grottoceratops Eggs are a type of Dinosaur Egg from the Primordial Caves.
Obtaining
Breeding Grottoceratops
Grottoceratops Eggs can only be obtained by breeding two Grottoceratops with Tree Stars. Once bred one of the Grottoceratops will find a dirt block to lay the egg and begin digging at it. After a few seconds an egg will be placed and the block below it will be replaced by Fern Thatch.
Afterwards, Grottoceratop Eggs can be obtained using any tool enchanted with Silk Touch. If trampled or broken without Silk Touch, it will drop nothing and anger any Grottoceratops in the vicinity.
Usage
Hatching
When placed on top of blocks that aren't Amber, Amber Monoliths, or Ice, Grottceratops Eggs will crack every so often. After 8-10 days, or 4-5 days if the Egg is on a Fern Thatch, it will hatch into a baby Grottceratops.
Display
Grottceratops Eggs placed on top of Amber, Amber Monoliths, or Ice will never hatch.
